The word ‘Vanchi’ means one of a kind or leader. It’s named after a ship called Vancinura, the first one to land people to the shore that began settlement. The name is shortened by the local of the land based on the name of an advanced ancient city that is believed to stand in the same place. The actual name of that ancient city is Lanchi, but similarity in character script result in people confusing ‘L’ for ‘V’. The renaming happens after the remains of the ancient city is found.

Vanchi City’s architecture is a blend of old and new. There are older buildings made of sturdy material that are meant to last for centuries at the same time there are other newer structures that are integrated with modern technology for various comforts but with short life. There is diverse architecture in the city reflecting the standard of living of people living there.

Vanchi being a modern city, it is commercially very active and diverse in terms of all the goods and service that are available at the disposal of the citizens. Not all companies succeed but those do see growth at an accelerated rate out of sheer volume of population of Vanchi city.

His roots lie in the neighbouring socialist Arsa state while he was born and brought up in Vanchi city but for higher education and initial employment years have been in the developed Payeria state.

Vanchi city has a lot of infrastructure to care for the health of its citizens. Here human resource is greatly valued hence ensuring that every individual is of optimum health is of great priority.

Entire year is full of chaos that at the end promises utopia, while there being a continuous looming threat of a single misstep turning it into a dystopia. Vanchi is digitally cut off from the world while the AI Integration happen. 2025 ends with Vanchi being the first city to be co-run by Artificial Intelligence. As a reward Vanchi is entrusted with the responsibility of being the capital city of the Kunj state.

Only problem being the over-use that happens by large volume of people and miss-handling by those ignorant leading to short of maintenance and hence causing a lot of breakdowns. Maintaining a piece of tech is difficult here yet the government tries to provide as many facilities as possible including the latest one, Artificial Intelligence.

Vanchi city in the year 2025 is not for tourism. This is the strict opinion of mayor Pawan Chandra. According to him people come here to work, earn money and possibly make their dream come true. Vanchi not a place for relaxation of site seeing. Hence, the city is not developed keeping tourism in mind. The only place for tourists is Chitra nagar where lies the Vanchi Film Industry.

Vanchi city has been hub for trading due to its strategic coastal location. Hence there is heavy trading that happens in Vanchi city where raw materials are imported for factories and finished products exported around the world.

Vanchi city has various means of transportation. Roadways & railways. It’s an unplanned city hence the roads are in a haphazard inefficient manner.
