Environment is the least cared aspect of living in Vanchi city. The land is not fertile to begin with. Further more the air and water quality is severely damaged since industrial revolution that happened in the 18th century. Now that the environment is affecting people of this place on genetic level, great measures are being taken to fix the environment related issues.
